Beans & Lentils
Beans and lentils are grown widely around Kenya and form a vital part in the daily Kenyan diet – they provide an excellent source of protein and fiber as well as being low in fat and cholesterol. These products are also grown by small scale farmers and by default the farming methods are organic. Most small scale farmers do not have the funds to buy expensive pesticides /fertilizer to spray on their beans; they would often use droppings from cows, sheep and goats to fertilize their produce. The result is delicious beans / lentils farmed under sustainable farming methods. Our beans are sourced from family owned farms, where we are able to control quality from seed to end product.
